Game Patch 32.0

I didn't think Nintendo would actually do it, but they stuck to their word. Super Mario 35 and Mario 3D All-Stars are no longer on the eshop. It's dumb, and we talk about it.

We also talk about stuff like:

- New Cyberpunk 2077 drama!!!

- Playstation has confirmed that the PS3/Vita/PSP PSNs are shutting down

- New PS Plus and Games with Gold games! One is great, one is awful...

- Monster Hunter Rise is selling like fire

- And more!

Game Patch 31.0

Reports are coming out that the Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X shortages could last into the second half of 2022, due to a worldwide shortage of the chips required to manufacture the consoles. We talk about the ramifications of the global chip crisis, and what it could mean for gaming over the next year or so.

We also talk about stuff like:

- New details that have come out about the upcoming Resident Evil and Mortal Kombat movies, along with the Last of Us HBO series

- Playstation is reportedly shutting down the PS3, PSP and PS Vita online stores this summer.

- Both Back 4 Blood and Gotham Knights have been delayed...

- The Switch Pro is officially the worst kept secret in gaming.

- And more!

Game Patch 30.0

A report by Bloomberg indicates that Nintendo expects to ship 250 MILLION software units in the next 12 months. That would be an all-time record for the company, and it begs the question; what the fuck do they have planned for this year??? We speculate wildly.

We also talk about stuff like:

- 2K has signed a deal with Tiger Woods for more golf video games!!

- 'Square-Enix Presents' went down on Thursday. What did they present?

- Another giant dump of games are coming to Xbox Gamepass

- The Playstation 5 is breaking sales records

- And more!

Game Patch 29.0

A new Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles game has been announced, and you can bet your ass I'm gonna talk about it! I'm so happy! And of course, Microsoft officially owns Bethesda now, and we have a better idea of what that means for the future of franchises like Elder Scrolls and Fallout, so of course we get into that.

We also talk about:

- Gamestop forming a committee to try and save the company

- An escaped convict got caught while trying to purchase Call of Duty

- More unannounced Xbox games are coming in 2021

- And more!

Game Patch 28.0

E3 2021 has officially been cancelled, at least in it's physical form. They're planning to go ahead with digital presentations, but the jury is out on whether or not the big game companies will come along for the ride. We break it down, throw out possible solutions for this year, and discuss what the future of E3 could look like if game companies decide they don't need to participate any more.

I also get into stuff like:

- Epic Games purchasing Fall Guys

- Sony has rolled out a bunch of new PSVR game announcements

- New PS Plus, PS Now and GamePass games!

- Nintendo seems to be standing firm on removing all Mario 35th anniversary mercy from stores at the end of the month

And more!!

Game Patch 27.0

Sony dropped a State of Play on us this week, and despite what people on the internet will tell you, I thought it was great. I break it down and go through each game shown, and there's a ton of other Playstation news as well.

I also talk about some non-Playstation stuff, including:

- More Cyberpunk 2077 drama, including their game's stolen source codes being leaked online

- Xbox might finally tell us what they plan to do with Bethesda games soon...

- Valheim is breaking records, and it's just too cool of story for me to ignore any longer

Game Patch 26.0

Nintendo gave us a Nintendo Direct! A real, full-length Nintendo Direct! The first one since September of 2019!! So we break that down, go over the announcements, and I share my opinions on it as well.

I also talk about some non-Nintendo stuff, including:

- Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War was the best selling game in the US in 2020, and it was available for 2 months...

- New games are coming to Xbox GamePass!

- People are suing Playstation over the PS5's Dual Sense drift issues, and Angry Adam isn't happy about it.

And more!!

Game Patch 25.0

Hackers broke into CD Projekt Red's systems, and stole a bunch of internal memos and info. Oh yeah, and the source codes to Witcher 3 and Cyberpunk. CD Projekt Red refused to pay their asking price, and now it appears the game codes have been sold on the dark web. What the hell????

I also talk about non-dark web stuff, including:

- The creator of Terreria cancelling a Google Stadia port of the game after being locked out of his Google accounts.

- GTA V has sold a mind blowing 140 MILLION copies!

- Nintendo has added SNES and NES games to their online service, and nobody wants them.

- Greasy assholes are buying up McDonalds Pokemon Cards, because people suck...

And more!!

Game Patch 24.0

Google has announced that they've abandoned making first party games for the Google Stadia, and they're focusing on being a third party platform. I mock them for it. I show a little love to the PC Master Race too, and get into a story about how Valve is using Steam's popularity to jerk nerds around.

I also talk about regular console stuff, including:

- MLB The Show 21 is coming to Xbox!

- Playstation has revealed some PS5 sales numbers, and they aren't too shabby...

- Halo:Infinite is being designed to run optimally on various console and PC hardware, as opposed to just porting the same game to everything.

- Nintendo isn't saying a Switch Pro is coming, but they aren't not saying it either...

And more!!

Game Patch 23.0

The entire planet is talking about GameStop and their stock prices. But why listen to big business tycoons and analysts with degrees and TV shows and stuff, when you could listen to the opinions of an unemployed comedian who once bought stock in Blackberry? I break down this tire fire to the best of my abilities and tell you what I think.

I also talk about stuff I (kind of) understand, including:

- Cyberpunk 2077 had the biggest digital game launch in history

- The PS plus and Games with Gold for February have been announced, and they're awesome!

- Nintendo is being sued again, this time by us maple syrup chugging Canadians

- Xbox increased the price of Xbox Live Gold, decreased it when everyone got mad, and I think they did it on purpose.

And more!!

Game Patch 22.0

For some reason, there's an ass load of 'Studio X is working on a secret game' news this week, so we talk about it. On one hand, having only rumour and speculation sucks. On the other hand, it's like looking at Christmas presents you haven't opened yet and fantasizing about what's inside.

I also talk about actual confirmed, non-rumour news including:

- Some new info about the upcoming Mortal Kombat movie

- Scalpers are still buying up Playstation 5s, and now they're actually bragging about it.

- A box of pokemon cards sold for over $400k recently. Fuck...

- New GamePass additions!!!

- More Cyberpunk, because of course...

And more!!

Game Patch 21.0

I don't know exactly how 'Chewy Inc.' is gonna save Gamestop, but apparently investors think they can, because Gamestop's stock has exploded over the last few days. I attempt to talk about business (and fail miserably) on this week's podcast.

I also talk about non-stock market things, including:

- Nintendo has released new details about Super Mario 3D World/Bowser's Fury, Pokemon Snap, and a new Mario themed Nintendo Switch!

- Playstation has revealed the best selling digital games on the PSN for 2020.

- We're getting a new Indiana Jones game!

- Of course, we talk about the latest Cyberpunk 2077 drama. Again.

Plus other stuff!
